Robert after 5 years at The Talent Institute, what’s next?

After more than five years at The Talent Institute, Robert was ready for his next chapter. This past February, he joined ABN AMRO as an Innovation Consultant, a natural next step after years of helping leading companies grow, test, and innovate.

Robert first joined TTI back in 2018 as a Digital Marketing Trainee.
Fresh out of university, he dove into the world of growth hacking at companies like FrieslandCampina, Billy Bones, and MEIS & MAAS,  experimenting with creative ways to drive growth through data, testing, and customer insight.

After a short period working outside of TTI, he returned in 2020 as a Digital Innovator, ready to take his skills to the next level. From that moment, his career took off, both in scope and in impact.

Over the past years, Robert has worked on a wide variety of projects:

  • Philips (Jul 2021 – Apr 2022)Product Researcher
    Responsible for user research for Philips GroomTribe, the service for male grooming users. He explored consumer behaviour and helped optimise product experience and communication.

  • Nationale-Nederlanden (Nov 2020 – Jun 2021 & Jun 2022 – Dec 2022)Experiment Designer / Senior Experiment Designer
    Designed and ran experiments to validate new propositions within insurance and financial services — translating user insights into product and service concepts.

  • ABN AMRO (Apr 2022 – May 2022)Innovation Lead
    Supported internal innovation teams in testing new business ideas, validating assumptions, and building data-driven decision frameworks.

  • Nestlé Purina (2023 & 2024)Innovation & Agile Coach / Mentor
    Coached multiple pet-tech startups during the UNLEASHED Accelerator, guiding founders through proposition development, business-model design, and experimentation.

  • Alliance Healthcare (Sep 2023 – Jan 2024)eCommerce Specialist
    Helped improve e-commerce processes and supported the digital transition for Alphega Pharmacies by developing an online webshop strategy.

Throughout his time at TTI, Robert grew into the role of Lead Digital Innovator, mentoring new consultants, improving the way of working, and shaping the Digital Innovator program itself.
